Sin has been in the industry for 16 years and created Sin Republic 5 years ago, to share his humble knowledge about hair sculpting.

The reason for hair sculpting, is that every person has a different head shape, just like fingerprints, every single client is unique so he created a way that defied the laws of hair to sculpt the perfect haircut for every individual. He loves to be able to create customized looks for all of his clients using his VORTEX sculpting. He created an environment where everyone is welcome no matter what, as long as they have hair.

denis

Stylist

Denis was inspired by the industry when he was 11, when he got cut his hair in Las Vegas at ARCS Salon. He began his career as Sin's assistant and took part in the creating and opening of Sin Republic, where he took his place as a stylist.

Denis specializes in men's haircuts, kids haircuts and short hair designs. He's great for conversation in fantasy football, concerts, festivals, and puffin birds.

Stylist

As a tom boy growing up, 3 season athlete, and MHSAA Wrestling champion, Emilys one girly outlet was hair and makeup. After traveling and living in 4 different states from Southern California to Minneapolis, she decided to start chasing her dreams in hair. In the industry now 13 years, Emily owns and operates her own Salon Suite in Kalamazoo.

Emily joined the Sin Republic team over a year ago to keep her skills sharp and learn from her many talented coworkers. She also wanted the opportunity to share her knowledge and mentor our new talents. She specializes in all things hair, more specifically Barbering men's hair and Bridal hair- she has done 16 wedding parties this year!

MORGAN

Stylist

In the industry almost 6 years, Morgan has been an awesome addition to our Sin Republic family. She was always the kid who brushed and cut everyone's hair growing up, it's no wonder she decided to make a career out of it. She loves that the industry is forever evolving and changing, and she always eager to learn more. Morgan appreciates the artistic approach and endless opportunities to not only be creative for herself, but for every client to be creative themselves in their style.

She specializes in balayage, blonding, makeup, eyelash extensions, and long layered haircuts. She's got a bubbly personality and great conversation, and she will never turn down a pumpkin spice latte.

MARCI & WINSTON

Business Manager

Partners in crime, Marci and Winston are the glue that holds Sin Republic together. With Sin Republic almost 4 years, this duo greets all of our wonderful clients with their bright smiles every single day. Winston enjoys his morning treats, napping his days away, and getting the chance to be Sin Republic's official greeter.

Winston isn't just a mascot, he is the essence of Sin Republic. They complete the Sin Republic family ❤️

CHANDLaR

Stylist

Chandlar has been beautifying hair for almost 6 years, her edgy flair has been the perfect fit for Sin Republic. Before her career in hair, she attended the Kendall College of Art and Design double majoring in drawing and painting.

Her artistic abilities shined through even more when she started creating art with hair. Chandlar specializes in color, fashion color, makeup, long hair cuts, and a banging Victoria Secret worthy blow out and style.

Amanda

"I have always looked at my career as not a job, but as a purpose, a gift"

Amanda specializes in balayage blondes and tape-in extensions. She enjoys bridal party makeup and updos as well! She has been doing hair for 10 years and has recently moved to the Grand Rapids area from northern Michigan with her family to further her artistic career.

Kacie

“I have always been artistic, convinced the right side of my brain is the only side that functions!"

From a very young age Kacie started creating and collecting art and oddities. She found a love early on for creative color and although she still loves rocking out a great color, after 3 years in the industry she's discovered a new passion for cutting. She takes special enjoyment in anything out of the ordinary, from mullets to rainbow bangs, crazy textured cuts and especially fades. Her heart and soul goes into the things she creates and a one of a kind look is guaranteed after sitting in her chair!
