Q. Out of the five senses, which one could you live without and why
A. I honestly don’t think I could live without any of the senses, not well! I am a very sensual person, and I feel any of them taken away would be a life not fully experienced and enjoyed!
Q. If you could keep only one of the five senses, which one would it be and why
A. If I could only keep one sense, I would have to say eyesight. I am such a visual person, and so many things, most things, can be interpreted, felt, heard and understood through the eyes.
Q. What is it that you enjoy so much about meeting new people on a daily basis
A. I love meeting new people daily because I feel it breathes more life into my own life and experience in this world! I love hearing how others think, feel, what they love and are passionate about, sounding ideas off one another, learning how others view things differently or like my own views. My Mother always told me you can learn something from every single person you ever meet, and she has been right everytime!
Q. How would you determine the way in which you will sculpt, color and style your client’s hair that gives them total faith in you
A. As soon as I meet a person (whether they’re in my chair or not!) and begin talking with them, my mind is already creating a vision. I create the “after” in my mind, and I adore being the conduit for the transformation! I trust in my own processes of getting to that desired “after”, and I believe in that trust, my client feels they can as well. I find it very important to talk over the desired outcome several times before beginning…it helps both creator and client build confidence! I am a very visual, hands-on artist, and I know I have the skill, talent and ability to create the vision we plan for!
Q. Dreaming or daydreaming (explain why and what’s the significance)
A. Dreaming is what your subconscious plays out while our bodies are resting in a REM cycle. Daydreaming is your soul speaking it’s deepest desires to our human brain we carry around in this life. It’s so important to do, and to allow these dreams to play out in our conscious minds! Daydreaming helps shape the passions we need to do the physical work to follow, it forms the building blocks we lay out ahead of us in the Universe to create our world, our reality and our visions.
Q. Why is customer care vital to our belief system at Sin Republic
A. 'Customers’ are people, like us. We all love to feel special, to feel cared for, to be remembered. We all want to be respected, appreciated and to enjoy our downtime! When we spend our hard-earned money, especially to care for ourselves and our appearance, we want to do it in a space that’s relaxing but fun, trendy but unique, and where we do feel special, remembered, cared for and appreciated! I think Sin and Sin Republic sets the standard for this type of salon environment, and that is truly why I am very excited and grateful to be a part of the team and the family that creates this type of personal customer care!
